The Ketchum Professional Firefighters

are proud to present

The 3rd Annual

Fight to Survive

Not for the faint of heart, this competition pits athletes against extreme obstacles, weights and their own endurance in an awesome display of fitness, guts and sheer willpower. This exercise fundraiser benefits wounded veterans through the organization Higher Ground. Come to compete for great prizes and an even greater cause, or come to support our veterans and cheer the athletes on, either way we all win!

This years’ course starts with a 50 yard dash, a farmer’s carry, and a railroad tie/sledge hammer drive. Then things really heat up with a 7 foot wall scale, 20 deadlifts, 50 yard dash with the barbell and weights, 20 back squats and a short but awesome cognitive test on paper. This test demonstrates the need for mental acuity under stress that firefighters, law enforcement and the military have to perform simultaneously. Then go ahead and do it back to front, ending up at the wall. Think you can compete? Sign up and get ready to sweat!
